Flighty dark mage Lilika and taciturn flesh golem Sheol fled their dark pasts and became close adventuring partners. They’re an elite duo, called on for the most perilous and difficult jobs around the world.
Five years ago, a sudden catastrophe turned the peaceful mountain town of Senta on its head: deadly monsters appeared in the temple, slaughtering anyone who crossed their path. Though the citizens have settled into a new routine with a new temple, the agony of that event still lurks beneath the surface, and the monsters still haunt the town. When the chief summons Sheol and Lilika to deal with these invaders, an inconceivable discovery ignites the town, and grief and secrets threaten to bring a new calamity!
Patchwork and Lace is a fantasy/romance/adventure comic set in a world loosely inspired by retro JRPGs. It’s generally a PG to PG-13 read, though it can get into more graphic territory, as it explores trauma and violence at points.
